Yang Peng, Ph.D., research interests focus on the optical and electrical properties of nanoparticles and their self-assembly, atomic and molecular manipulation, electrical properties of artificial nanostructures, nanoelectronics, etc. Under the tutelage of Professor Marie-Paule Pileni, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Madame Curie (Paris VI) in 2010. In 2012, he obtained the teaching qualification of French universities and taught at Paris Diderot University (Paris VII). Visiting scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy. In 2016, he joined Yunnan University full-time as an introduced talent. Undertook and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation, EU ERC, EU FP7, French ANR, Berkeley National Laboratory projects, etc. Some papers have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Physical Review B, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Journal of Chemical Physics, Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter. At the same time, he is a reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a reviewer of journals under the American Chemical Society and the Royal Society of Physics, a member of the Berkeley National Laboratory Molecular Factory User Executive Committee, a member of the Chinese Physical Society, a member of the All-France Chinese Association of Science and Technology Workers, and a national Director of New Material Technology Development Research Association, Member of Academic Committee of Sichuan Zhongzhi Industrial Design and Research Institute, etc.
